Client:  One Of The World's Largest Independent Oil And Gas Exploration And Production Companies 
  • Business Problem:  Our client is replacing its legacy risk management system with Endur – requiring new inbound and outbound interfaces to marketing systems, the Corporate Credit System, the ICE, and market price feeds
  • What Provante did:   We designed, built, documented and implemented interfaces to:
    • Pull future prices from the new risk management system, into out client’s gas marketing system, and updated the prices in the marketing system’s deals
    • Direct price feed interface to Plattt’s
    • Pull settlement prices from the Platt’s price feed
    • Pull settlement prices from Platt’s to our client’s Crude Management System
    • Pull mark-to-market and accounts receivable exposures from the Endur into the credit system
    • Pull deals entered in the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) into client’s trading system
  • Client’s Results: 
    • Client traders previously spent considerable time maintaining a manual deal log for ICE deals and then manually entering the deals into the client’s trading system.  They are saving ten minutes per deal on a volume of 50 - 100 deals per day – a savings of 1 - 2 FTEs!
    • All of the interfaces were built on time and under budget enabling Endur to go live as planned
