Provanté’s response is AMS.Guardian, a solution that enables emergency and school officials to know where each vehicle is at all times; equips vehicle drivers with the means to alert officials of emergency situations; and eliminates miscommunication by providing two-way messaging among schools, emergency officials, and school vehicles.

Unlike public telephone services and private wireless networks, AMS.Guardian’s Satellite Communications option relies on geosynchronous satellites in orbit thousands of miles above earth. These satellites are not affected by weather or man-made disasters, and they can’t be overwhelmed by a deluge of emergency calls.
